BIOGRAPHY
Simon Shipman is a digital artist and graphic designer who specializes in making 2D and 3D art. Prepared by a history of academic success and having worked on various collaborative projects, Simon believes that coordination and communication are important for the success of the team and that quality artwork takes time, passion, and diligent work. Simon is experienced with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, GIMP, 3ds Max, and Maya, has worked in the Unity and Unreal game engines, and is well versed in the C++ programming language. Utilizing his skills with software, Simon has worked on various 2D game projects such as Ninjo’s Adventure, Robo Base, and GMU Balloon Fight, and created 3D scenes, objects, characters, and videos. In addition to computer/digital art, Simon is an accomplished traditional artist, creatively utilizing pencil, painting, sculpture, and charcoal, and knows how to bridge the gap between technical and artistic workers. Simon is a George Mason University graduate (Magna Cum Laude) and worked as a design intern for Smashup Fantasy Sports.
